Please note that the format of the OpenIFS User Meeting from 13th to 16th May 2024 has now changed to a virtual online meeting.

We will send out nearer the time a meeting link to join the meeting on MS Teams.

Registration and abstract submission remain open with closing date TBC. If you plan to participate, please can you register as soon as possible.

To register for this event please click here:   https://events.ecmwf.int/event/396/

We encourage ALL participants to submit an abstract (you can do this on the registration page here https://events.ecmwf.int/event/396/abstracts/).  Even if you are not yet working with the OpenIFS model it would be useful to learn about your research and how you think OpenIFS will contribute to this work.

Practical session:

The introductory practical computer session will also be run using MS Teams and Jupyter Notebooks on the European Weather Cloud.  You will only need a web browser to participate in the practicals.  The practicals are aimed at users who are new to using the OpenIFS model or who want to start using the latest version OpenIFS 48r1.

Kind regards

Marcus Köhler and Adrian Hill
