To check your usage of HOME, PERM and SCRATCH use the standard "quota" command.
File system purge
All files on SCRATCH that have not been used recently (based on access and modify time of the files) are deleted by a regular process. All files older than 30 days will be removed. This expiry period might need to be lowered depending on the usage of the SCRATCH filesystem.
On ecgate: /hpc$HOME and /hpc$PERM
On cca (interactive node only): /ws$HOME and /ws$SCRATCH
- near POSIX semantics
- stripe settings are user configurable (defaults: stripe_size is 1 MB for $SCRATCH and $TMPDIR, stripe_count is 1), for more details see the training course material on parallel IO and striping (restricted access).
- attribute and directory caching enabled
- close-to-open semantics
