NGCD consists of two independent datasets, NGCD-1 and NGCD-2, derived using different spatial interpolation methods applied to the same input observation dataset. The description of the input data and the methods is available in the NGCD Algorithm Theoretical Basis Document (Nordic Gridded Climate Dataset (NGCD): Product User Guide and Specification). NGCD programs are written using R-language Nordic Gridded Climate Dataset (NGCD): Product User Guide and Specification. The NGCD algorithms and scripts are available at github.com/metno/NGCD.
