Many of the icon types in Metview are editable. To edit an icon double-click or hit Enter on the icon, or right-click and select Edit form the context menu. This will bring up bring up the icon editor assigned to the given icon type. The basic editor, which is used for the most of the Metview icons, looks like this in Desktop:
