The best way to start using ECaccess is to read the User Guide. To start using ECaccess immediately, without downloading any software, either point your browser to http://ecaccess.ecmwf.int (see ECaccess see The Web Serverserver), or use any standard SSH or FTP/SFTP client to login on ecaccess.ecmwf.int (see ECaccess SSH Server(see The SSH server).
For X11 access point your browser to http://ecaccess.ecmwf.int/ and log on to an an NX interactive session 
service. The User Guide describes alternative X11 connections.
ECaccess Packages
For larger user communities working at the same place, you may want to download one of the Releases. Only if you wish to download the gateway package, please first register at the ECaccess registration center.
