To get access to CAMS global data, you need user accounts on the ECMWF website, and on the ECMWF FTP service.

  1. Log on to www.ecmwf.int. (to Atmosphere Data Store (ADS)(ECMWF login required - If you do not have an account create one)Read the Licenceand accept the license from the Atmosphere Data Store (ADS).
  2. Download a small data sample of the CAMS global atmospheric composition forecasts using the ADS web interface (CAMS Global forecast data download form) - you will need to accept the data licence. 
  3. Contact us by creating a ticket through the ECMWF Support Portal, providing 
    1. the user name you used to log into www.ecmwf.int and accept the licensein to download the CAMS data sample.
    2. confirmation that you accepted the dataset licence and successfully downloaded a small data sample.
    3. for our service planning, a brief description of how you intend to use the data, and which chemical species are most relevant for you
