In early 2017 ECMWF prepared L2B and L2C datasets for testing by the Aeolus CAL/VAL teams (based on L2Bp v2.30). These were prepared by running a realistic simulation of 16 orbits of Aeolus using ECMWF model data (wind, temperature, pressure, cloud properties) as input to the Aeolus simulator (E2S) for the date 1/10/2015. The CAL/VAL rehearsal datasets (generated in 2017) are provided here:

We have regenerated the L2B data The data has been regenerated (in March 2018) with the most recent processing chain: E2S v4.01, L1B v7.01 and L2B v3.00.
