Tip

The Machine Learning workshop poster session will be held in the web-conferencing space Gather.Town, in a virtual poster room. We selected Gather.Town because it offers a platform that best emulates an in-person poster session and has the potential to facilitate interaction with other workshop participants. Participants will access the Gather.Town platform via this link. More information about Gather.Town can be found under "Activities" in the event microsite.

You need to provide your poster file (see details and timeline below) and we will add it to your designated poster board in the virtual poster room prior to the event.

Presenters are expected to stand with their poster in Gather.Town during the sessions on Tuesday 29 March at 11:40 BST. Position your avatar in the shaded square in front of your poster. This shaded square is known as a “private space” and your audio/video will be shared with everyone else in this square, but not neighbouring spaces.

When participants move into your poster space they can press the “x” key to enter full screen viewing of your poster.

You will be allocated a dedicated page on the event microsite which will contain all submitted material (see timeline below for submitting material). The comments field at the bottom of your page can be used as a blog for you to interact with participants about your poster.

Your poster will be available for viewing throughout the workshop and will also be published on the ECMWF workshop webpage. It you have any issues with your poster being published on the main ECMWF website, please let me know.
