To upgrade an older ECaccess Gateway to the latest version we recommend ECaccess administrators to use the script ecaccess-upgrade-v4.0.0.sh.
Please note that before downloading the Gateway package, we recommend installing the latest JDK from Sun available at the following URL:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html
The Gateway software is currently running at ECMWF using the Sun Java SE Development Kit 8u71.
