In this section we will look at the model climate distribution for the period of interest.  Please note:

• The model climate is a good proxy for the real climate but it is affected by the systematic errors of the model being used
• The model climate is limited by the sample size and period length (currently 11 members over a period of 20 years). This affect in particular the extremes
• Model climate is used to generate anomalies. Being based one the same operational model version allows filtering of systematic model errors leaving only abnormal signals in the weather.
• A subset of Model climate fields are easily accessible from ecCharts or from the static charts on the web.
