As a tenant admin, follow these steps to create a new user in the Keycloak IAM system:
- Navigate to https://iam.eumetsat.europeanweather.cloud/admin/{tenancy-name}/console/ and login with your admin credentials.
Note: replace {tenancy-name} by the name of your tenancy.
- In the left-hand menu, click on Users

then click on Add User

- Fill in the necessary fields: Username, Email, First Name, and Last Name.
Set Email Verified to Yes/No. (This indicates if the user's email address is valid or not, if you set to No, further email verification will be performed once the user tries to log in for the first time).

- Once done, click Save. You will be redirected to the user's settings page where you can set a password for the user and configure additional settings.
- To set the User's password, go to the Credentials tab, and click on Credential Reset

- In the resetAction dropdown, select Update Password. Then click on Send Email.

- The user will receive an email with a link to log into their account.

The link will redirect the user to a page where they can set their password.

Password Policy
When users set their own passwords, they must adhere to the following password policy requirements:
- Minimum 12 characters
- At least 1 special character
- At least 1 uppercase character
- At least 1 digit
- Cannot reuse the last 3 passwords
- Cannot contain the user’s name
- Cannot contain the email address
