Dear EWC user,
General information for all EUMETSAT data buckets
As part of the ongoing cloud migration on the EUMETSAT side of the European Weather Cloud, we have started migrating the data buckets listed on the following https://confluence.ecmwf.int/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=488063253. You will notice that a new column indicating the S3 endpoint has been added. This column will be updated as soon as each dataset becomes fully available on the new cloud infrastructure. In general, the migration does not affect the content of the buckets, only the endpoint used to access them. Whenever a dataset is migrated, we will issue a dedicated announcement as part of this series. The buckets with the new endpoint are still accessible from old cloud.
seviri-meteosat-0-degree.fcdr.level15.netcdf bucket accessible from the new endpoint
Users currently accessing the bucket s3://seviri-meteosat-0-degree.fcdr.level15.netcdf should update their configuration to use the new S3 endpoint:
https://s3.r1.cloud.eumetsat.int
The previous endpoint will be disabled by the end of the week.
No service interruption is expected, and all standard S3 operations will continue to function normally. If you encounter any issues after switching to the new endpoint, please be in touch via https://chat.europeanweather.cloud or https://support.europeanweather.cloud
Kind regards,
EWC Team at EUMETSAT
