This page aims at documenting the advantages of an enhanced hydrological coupling.

  • It leverage on the IFS development foreseen for cycle 50r2 ( IFS-4233 - Getting issue details... STATUS )
  • it prepares for a 2-way coupling of inundated + irrigated areas (50r1 for 51r1)
  • it further enables a fully-closed loss-less water cycle (ecLand v2.0+)
