In the whole process it is important to:

  • Analyse EFAS forecasts.
  • If possible, compare EFAS forecast with regional/national information.
  • Decide whether to act on the EFAS Pre-Tasking request (in this phase, EFAS partners can contact relevant authorities involved in flood protection and discuss the Pre-Tasking).
  • Ask the Authorised User (List of Authorised Users) to issue the official request.

If your country does not have a specific Authorised User, the EFAS partner should contact the Emergency Response Coordination Centre (ECHO-ERCC@ec.europa.eu).
