The 49r1v4 includes all the land surface model updates including new vegetation : CY49R1 v-versions
The tstep(=1200) is the same as the atmospheric model used for the extended-range and seasonal forecasts in the latest configurations.
The period from 1968 to 1969 : spin-up for the land surface model
In further info, "FD Hmat" means that finite differences to derive the Jacobians in the SEKF (instead of default EDA from ERA5)
In further info, "SLV_mask" means that the T2m/RH2m obs are screened in the SEKF SM analysis where the size of the ERA5 T2m/RH2m increments < 0.1 K
In further info, "B_err=0.01K" means that the background-error variances in the SEKF SM analysis are reduced from 0.02 K (default cycle 49r1) to 0.01 K (default cycle 48r1)
In further info, "Without SLV_obs" means that T2m/RH2m obs are not assimilated in the SEKF SM analysis.
