Marcus Köhler joined the OpenIFS team in November 2018 after having worked for 15 years in scientific computing at universities in the UK. His academic background is in numerical modelling of chemistry-climate interactions and meteorology with focus on atmospheric chemistry and transport processes. He has contributed to user support & training courses for the UK Chemistry & Aerosol (UKCA) component of the Met Office Unified Model and has taught a wide range of atmospheric science related courses as a University Lecturer.
