As for ecp, except that the source files are removed

after a successful copy.

Note that some operations may not actually update the file

but still report success

(for instance <I>-n</I> when the target already exists

or <I>-u</I> when the target is already newer than the source);

in such cases the source file is <I>not</I> removed but remains in place.
