In this tutorial, and throughout the workshop, you will use the Cray XC40 HPCF at ECMWF. In this section we will learn how to:
- connect to the HPCF
- start a parallel an interactive session on ppn nodes

- Open a terminal window by clicking on the 'terminal' icon in the toolbar.
Type the command: ssh troifsXX@ecaccess.ecmwf.int Note: Instead of troifsXX you should use your training user-ID - You will be prompted for the hostname with a choice between
ecgate, cca and ccb. You should select ccb. - When you have completed your work you can disconnect from
ccb by typing exit at the command prompt.
