OpenIFS is intended for installation and use on system external to ECMWF. We do not provide a facility to run OpenIFS for external users.
- Before you start, please read the Prerequisites page. OpenIFS requires a number of software packages to be available on the target computer system.
- Read the list of supported systems and compilers that we provide compilation details for and provide direct support.
- If you don't have grib_api available (or even if you do), you will need to install grib_api for OpenIFS.
- Then read the installation instructions followed by a test integration to verify the model works.
