Troubleshooting web login problems
What to do if you get a "Your login details are incorrect" message when trying to log in
- If you are already registered with ECMWF please follow the "Password Reset" procedure below. This should give you a new temporary password that you should then change using the "Password Change" procedure.
- If you know that you are not registered with ECMWF or do not receive any password reset email (do make sure of checking your Junk/Spam folders) you can create a new user id by following: https://apps.ecmwf.int/registration/

Password Reset
To reset you password follow theses instructions
Go to: https://apps.ecmwf.int/auth/reset-password/
Enter your email or uid.
This will send an email to reset your password, Please check your junk folder.
Once you click the link you will then have a new password presented to you on the screen. After this you can change to a password of your choice by following the "Password Change" procedure.

- must be at least 8 characters long
- the first 8 characters must contain:
- at least one lower-case character
- and at least one upper-case character
- and at least one digit
- and at least one character in this list:

- = \ ` { } [ ] : " ; ' < >
Once password has been change, it will expire after 6 months
