The Map Viewer provides numerous options to customise your view and make it most useful for you. You will find the tools to change the visualizations or make your own presets to the right on the menu bar.

  3. the chosen layers
  4. currently active
  5. layers → is this correct??
  6. layers

The base map is currently not saved in the preset.

Please note that you even can share your own preset with another EFAS-IS user by copying the link using the button on top of the page.

Saving custom settings to be able to load them later on.

Adding external WMS

The Map Viewer allows you to add an external WMS and load the layers to view them together with the EFAS layers.

For example here is how to add GloFAS:

  1. Choose a WMS Name
  2. Provide the URL of the WMS GetCapabilities
  3. Keep the Info Format and Version as they are (text/html and 1.3.0)
  4. Click Add

You will then be able to view both the data from the WMS and the EFAS forecasts together in the EFAS Map Viewer.
