Licence based on information cost and service charge (new costing model)

- Standard commercial users

As a standard commercial user, you can make changes to your requirements if your service package allows this.

  • If you have a licence with a Basic service package, you cannot make any changes to your data. If you wish to change your data requirements, you will need to update your service package.
  • The Bronze service package allows for two changes to be made to your requirements  by the ECMWF Data Support Team.
  • The Silver package also allows for two changes by the ECMWF Data Support Team, but with this service change, you have access to the Product Requirements Editor (PREd) yourself and you can make 4 additional changes to your data by yourself. Note that it is not possible to buy the Silver package if your Volume Band is below 3 (you receive less than 10 GB/day).
  • The Gold package allows for four changes to be made for you by the ECMWF Data Support Team, but you can make unlimited changes to your data in the PREd yourself. It is not possible to buy the Silver package if your Volume Band is below 3 (you receive less than 50 GB/day).
Warning

Once you have a licence with a Bronze, Silver or Gold package, it is not possible to downgrade to the Basic package.

If you are a standard commercial user, we will need a new quote that includes all your data. You can provide us with such a quote using our shopping cart
