Use the product requirements editor (PREd) to change your real-time forecast data requirements
What is the Product Requirements Editor (PREd)?
The Product Requirements Editor (PREd) is a web application for the configuration and maintenance of real-time dissemination requirements.
The PREd is currently available to the following real-time forecast data users:
ECMWF Member and Co-
operating Statesoperating States (ECMWF members)
NMHS licence holders
Maximum
Charge customers

Access the web application, using your username and password, via the following link : https://apps.ecmwf.int/products/requirements/

The PREd consists of the following components:
charge licence holders (under the old costing system) or users with the silver or gold service package (new service charge model)
Access to PREd is arranged as part of your real-time forecast data delivery set up.
After you have selected the data you require by browsing the ECMWF catalogue of real-time products. Your data is installed in the Product Requirements Editor (PREd), where the requirements are validated according to: 1) what's available and 2) which data you are permitted to access (not all customers pay to access the high-frequency products). Once the data has been installed, files are produced by the product generation system - you can review these files on the ECMWF Production Data Store (ECPDS)

Users can see who last modified the requirements with the addition of the 'Modified by' column on the destination page and in the version history.

Please note that the first version of all feeds (that have not yet been modified in the PREd) will show the name of an ECMWF colleague that loaded all requirements into the application. |
