Temperature at 2m has been interpolated from the O1280 target grid to regular lat-lon grids at different resolutions

Differences For the cases shown here, differences between MIR and EMOSLIB generally lie between +/-5K.
In general, more than 95% 99.55% of points differ by less than +/-1K0.5 K.
Largest The largest differences occur close to the coasts and in areas of steep orography where the gradient of the 2m temperature field changes most rapidly
