The aim of this section is to document and provide learning resources for the different CEMS-Flood's data format and structure.
CEMS-Flood products are available in two formats, GRIB2 and NetCDF4. GRIB2 is the format in which the data is stored in the MARS archive. Conversion to NetCDF4 is supported for some datasets (Table 1).
Each product consists of five datasets: Historical, Forecast, Reforecast, Seasonal Forecast, Seasonal Reforecast. The datasets can vary in the structure, reference <link>.
In addition, other auxiliary datasets are available to the users in NetCDF4 format.
