Seminar and Discussion Series

As COVID-19 as changed the outlook for rapidly convening a new International Earth Surface Working Group (IESWG) meeting, we have organized a seminar and discussion series. Three focus topics covered advances in (a) Soil moisture, River-discharge and Water cycle, (b) Vegetation and Land-Atmosphere fluxes, and (c) Snow and Ice and Cryosphere-Atmosphere interaction.

Each seminar had two keynote speakers from research and operational centre (representative of ongoing work in Australia, Europe, India, USA) followed by a plenary discussion. The seminars have been well attended and the presentation with notes from the discussions and the recordings are posted below.

In 2022 a IESWG Remote working group meeting will take place on the 5th/6th April 2022, announcement to follow.
