Climatology

To facilitate the computation of verification statistics analyses-based and observation station-based climatologies have been made available.

Upper-air analyses-based climatology

Daily climatology fields derived from ERA-Interim analyses, period 1989-2008.

Precipitation climatology

To facilitate the computation of the SEEPS score for precipitation, station climatologies for 24-h precipitation based on the period 1980-2009 have been made available. The file SEEPSclim.tar.gz contains the climatologies, a description of the data format and quality control, and an example SEEPS program.
