  1. Maintenance is taking longer than expected. Sorry for the inconvenience. We will update you as soon it is finished and all services are restored.

  2. Even though most of the VMs are up, we are still having network issues.

  3. A bit more info regarding the situation.

The upgrade is taking longer than expected due to unexpected challenges during the final step of the upgrade:

    • The restart of thousands of virtual machines required more time than initially anticipated.
    • The restart of several hundred load balancers resulted in errors due to a newly discovered bug in the cloud software sta

As of now, our infrastructure service provider has successfully restored approximately 80% of user deployments and continues to investigate the remaining issues related to the load balancers. They have assured us that resolving this issue is their highest priority and that their top management is actively involved in the process.

We are working closely with our infrastructure service provider and remain in constant communication with them to monitor the situation and support the recovery process. Importantly, they have confirmed that there is no risk of data loss and remain confident that full service recovery will be achieved. However, at this moment, there is no estimated time for full resolution, as troubleshooting is still ongoing.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding. We will keep you updated as soon as we have further information.

  4. The latest status of the outage is following:

    • Most virtual machines (VMs) and load balancers are running nominally.
    • Users are currently unable to deploy new resources.
    • We are actively investigating couple of VMs and EUMETCast Terrestrial clients which are in erroneous state.

However, the infrastructure provider has not yet resolved the outage. As a result, users may continue to experience disruptions.

We will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available.

  5. We are pleased to inform you that the EWC infrastructure on the EUMETSAT side has returned to nominal operation.

If you encounter any further issues, please let us know via https://support.europeanweather.cloud or in https://chat.europeanweather.cloud.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.
