ECMWF prepared L2B and L2C datasets for testing by the Aeolus CAL/VAL teams (in early 2017, based on L2Bp v2.30). These were prepared by running a realistic simulation of Aeolus using ECMWF model data (wind, temperature, pressure, cloud properties) as input to the Aeolus simulator (E2S) for the date 1/10/2015. The CAL/VAL rehearsal datasets are provided here:
