An organisation may hold one real-time Service Agreement. That single agreement carries one Volume Band and one Service Package, so it is not possible to hold two agreements at a lower Volume Band and add the volumes together.
Basic, Bronze, Silver and Gold are Service Packages - they determine the delivery services you receive. |
Should you submit multiple orders, they are added together under your single real-time Service Agreement, and the combined total determines the one Volume Band that applies.
This means submitting two orders that each fall within Volume Band 3 does not give you two Volume Band 3 allowances. Their volumes are added together, and if the combined total exceeds the upper limit of Volume Band 3, the agreement moves to Volume Band 4.
The Volume Band is based on the average volume per day (GiB per day) produced by your data requirements, measured before any compression.
Volume Band 3 means you receive an average of between 10 to 100 GiB per day for the duration of the Service Agreement. It is not a total pot of 10 to 100 GB to be consumed over the contract year.
All the data in a single agreement is added together, and that total determines which one band applies.
