OpenIFS User Forum
The former OpenIFS User Forum has now been included in the ECMWF Forum. The ECMWF Forum includes sections for posting about the OpenIFS model, with further sections on OpenIFS licensing, training, user workshops, and on the OpenIFS Data Hub.

Post your own queries on the forum and benefit from the expertise of the entire OpenIFS community, and reach out to the support team at ECMWF. Questions that are discussed on the forum will benefit the model's user community.
OpenIFS support team
There is a small team at ECMWF to provide direct support for the OpenIFS model.
While we recommend to post on the ECMWF Forum, this team can be contacted by raising a query (i.e., an issue / ticket) via the ECMWF Support Portal. This is the preferred method to contact OpenIFS support directly. Clicking on the link below will generate automatically an OpenIFS-assigned query:

We aim to reply within a working week, though during vacation periods this may be longer.
If you are a new OpenIFS user or are contacting the OpenIFS support team for the first time it would help us if you could indicate which institution your are affiliated with.
OpenIFS announce mailing list
openifs-announce@lists.ecmwf.int
This is a very low volume mailing list to receive information about OpenIFS such as: new releases, events, training.
Subscribe or unsubscribe
- Send an email to:openifs-announce-request@lists.ecmwf.int with the word subscribe or unsubscribe as Subject.
- Or visit: https://www.ecmwf.int/r/lists/subrequest/openifs-announce, enter your email address and click Subscribe.
You will receive an email asking you to confirm your request to join the mailing list.
You must reply by sending the message back unaltered in order to be added to the mailing list. This is a security measure to avoid anyone being subscribed to the list without their permission.
