What is DocuSign?

DocuSign is a program we use to manage our agreements. It allows both users and ECMWF with a way to sign documents electronically. ECMWF uploads the documents, which then become encrypted. There is also a unique hash created, which makes sure that makes sure that the document cannot be tampered with or compromised. 

Why DocuSign?

DocuSign is a way to send documents in quick and easy way. An additional advantage is that it saves a lot of paper, which is good for our environment. 

How to sign a documents with DocuSign?

After a document has been uploaded, recipients receive an email requesting review of a document. You click on this link and find the fields where your signature or other text is required. You click on 'finish' and 'continue' and you are all done. For more detailed instructions, please have a look at the instruction video below. 

Do I need to install anything?

No, you don't to install anything. It is completely web-based. 

Is it free to use DocuSign?

Yes, as a user you don't need to pay anything.
