https://classroom.eumetsat.int/course/view.php?id=547.

We would like to thank again our speakers for presenting very interesting use cases on the EWC and all who were present for the great discussions and feedback we received on EWC topics. We look forward to seeing you all in future EWC trainings and workshops, as well as interacting in the EWC community discussion platform.

We would like also to remind  the opportunity to contribute to the EWC website with your use cases running on the EWC! If you would like your use case featured there, please contact us via our Support Portal or discussion platform.

Dear all,

We are improving our direct link configuration between the EUMETSAT side of the EWC and EUMETSAT data services on Tuesday 26 Nov 9-10 CET. There should be no downtime, but all active connections will be dropped, potentially affecting processes downloading large files.

We apologize for the inconvenience!

Dear all ,

EUMETCast Terrestrial over AMT users may experience a reception outage since the GEANT AMT Relay in London is currently down. Those users are requested to switch to the other relays by modifying the order of the IPs in the amt-relays.txt file and restarting the amtgwd deamon. The notification came from the User Notification Service in EUMETSAT: https://uns.eumetsat.int/uns/ and Eumetcast team is investigating the problem. Meanwhile the suggested steps to use a different relay are described here: https://confluence.ecmwf.int/display/EWCLOUDKB/How+to+modify+the+AMT+relay+connection+order.

EUMETSAT EWC Morpheus update

We are updating the cloud management platform Morpheus at the EUMETSAT side of the EWC on 14 November at 20:00 -- 21:30 CET. During the update, Morpheus will not be available. The update does not affect any running workloads.

We were experiencing issues at the EUMETSAT side of the EWC, around 16:20 - 17:30. Any VMs may have been affected. Everything should be recovered but VM restarts might be needed. We are continuing the analysis with our provider. Please report us via https://jira.ecmwf.int/servicedesk/customer/portal/9 or https://chat.europeanweather.cloud if you experiencing any problems.

We apologise for the inconvenience!
