This page provides simplified version of CMEM for the HarmoSnow COST action school Bormio, Italy in March 12-16, 2018


1) Installing CMEM on Linux laptop:

  • Configuration 1: CMEM (v5.1) with ASCII only input/output : Download 
  • Configuration 2: CMEM (v5.1) with ASCI and NetCDF input/output: Download

To compile CMEM you need a linux station or laptop with fortran installed (for both configurations 1 and 2) and  Netcdf (for configuration 2 only).

Please update the Makefile to indicate the correct paths for:

FORTRAN_COMPILER

NETCDF_INCLUDE_PATHS

NETCDF_LIBRARY_PATHS

NETCDF_LIBRARY_NAMES


2) Concrete example to play with CMEM using ASCII input/output (daily for Jan 2016)

This directory contains: CMEM F90 code, ASCII input 40N,60E for January 2016, SMOS observed TB
