How do I refer to a Metview icon from the command line - Metview FAQ

Problem

I see, for instance, a GRIB file icon in Metview's user interface and I want to be able to run a command-line command on it. How do I get its path?

From Metview's user interface, right-click on the icon and select "Copy filesystem path" to get the icon's full path into the clipboard.
