The OpenIFS team is: Glenn Carver (project manager) , Filip Vana and Gabriella Szepszo in the Research Department at ECMWF. Past team member, Filip Vana, who was at the start of OpenIFS, has moved on to a senior scientist position at ECMWF.
The past OpenIFS Steering Committee oversees who oversaw the early development of the project at ECMWF are thanked in particular: Erland Kallen (chair), Umberto Modigliani, Deborah Salmond, Mike Sleigh, Peter Bauer, Sarah Keeley and others whom meet who attended as needed.
We thank our colleagues in ECMWF's forecast department for their assistance in preparing Metview macros & case studies for OpenIFS workshops, and in developing the virtual machines, in particular: Sandor Kertesz, Iain Russell, Linus Magnusson, Stephan Siemen.
