When choosing your new password you must follow these rules: - Not the same as one of the last 10 passwords used
- Not contain the user’s account name or part of the user’s full name that exceed two consecutive characters
- The password is at least 12 characters long
- The password contains characters from at least three of the following four categories::
- Uppercase characters (A – Z)
- Lowercase characters (a – z)
- Base 10 digits (0 – 9)
Non-alphanumeric: ~,!,@,#,$,%,^,&,*,-,_,+,=,?
- must be at least 8 characters long
- the first 8 characters must contain:
- at least one lower-case character
- and at least one upper-case character
- and at least one digit
- and at least one character in this list:
@ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + | ~
- = \ ` { } [ ] : " ; ' < >
