Online Manuals and documentation
ECMWF have many publications online, including user manuals, tutorials, seminar proceedings, technical reports and the newsletter, amongst other documents. The full list of ECMWF publications can be found online at: http://www.ecmwf.int/publications.
Manuals relevant to OpenIFS are:
- Scientific and technical documentation for IFS - Cycle 37r2. (available as PDF files).
OpenIFS is based on Cycle 38r1 (operational model as of December 2012). Documentation for Cy38r2 will be available in 2013, however much of the Cy37r2 documentation is still valid. - MARS - Data Archive Retrieval documentation.
- GRIB-API documentation.
