Basic, Bronze, Silver and Gold are Service Packages - they determine the delivery services you receive. Volume Bands 1 to 7 are volume tiers - they determine the charge for the amount of data you receive. Your annual fee is the sum of the two. A "Basic, Volume Band 3" agreement is a Basic Service Package priced at Volume Band 3.
Volume Bands are not packages that can be bought in multiples. Each Service Agreement sits in a single Volume Band, determined by the total volume of all the data in that agreement. It is not possible to purchase two agreements at a lower band and add the volumes together.
A Volume Band is a daily average, not an allowance you draw down
The Volume Band is based on the average volume per day (GiB per day) produced by your data requirement, measured before any compression.
Volume Band 3 means you receive an average of between 10 to 100 GiB per day for the duration of the Service Agreement. It is not a total pot of 10 to 100 GB to be consumed over the contract year.
All the data in a single agreement is added together, and that total determines which one band applies.
