MARS

Using the Web API client, fields can be retrieved in NetCDF format, rather than in GRIB, by specifying

format=netcdf

Not supported by the full MARS client available on ECMWF computers.

Dissemination

Specifies the format of the dissemination files.

format=<value>

Valid formats are:

Value	Note
`grib`	GRIB 1 format, for all non LEVT=ML data
`grib2`	GRIB 2 format, for all LEVT=ML data
`bufr`	BUFR format, for weather parameters and tropical cyclone trajectory forecasts
