Labels the version of the operational forecast system for seasonal forecast related products.

system=<value>

Labels the version of the operational forecast system for seasonal forecast related products.

For example, the ECMWF seasonal forecasting system uses system=1 for cycle 15r8, used between 1997 and 2002, and system=2 for the cycle 23r4 based system introduced in 2002. For research seasonal forecast experiments, system is set to 0 (not used).


Example to specify 2 metre temperature from the multi-model seasonal forecast system 5:
