Specifies the required frequency components of 2d wave spectra. 

frequency=<value>

At each grid point these wave model fields are discretised in a number NFRE of frequencies and a number NANG of directions. Therefore keyword direction should also be specified.   > 2D wave spectra documentation.

Examples:

stream=wave,                                         # request 2d wave spectra with frequencies 1 to 36 
type=an,                                                      # and 36 directions
param=140251,                                                     
frequency=1/to/36,
direction=1/to/36                               

Please note that if 2d wave spectra (param 140251) are requested from MARS and either frequency or direction are not specified, the respective keyword value will be set to all.
