We are pleased to announce that the first use of the OpenIFS model is for the Department of Meterology at the University of Stockholm, Sweden. They will be using the model for the MSc course to take place in November 2012 where the students will use the model for a case study project. The model will be running on the Triolith cluster at the National Supercomputer Centre (NSC) at Linköping University, Sweden.
We are grateful to our colleagues at MISU, Prof Michael Tjernström, Dr Abdel Hannachi and Joakim Kjellsson, for their interest in the model and their support.
