The various datasets listed below are available for download and as charts/plots together with documentation through the Atmosphere Data Store (ADS) and CAMS Catalogue. The latest CAMS Product Portfolio is also available.

CAMS data is open and free of charge (see Copernicus Licence for details).

Global CAMS data:

  1. Latest three days of Real-Time CAMS global daily analysis and forecast data are available through:
    1. the ADS interactive web interface download forms: CAMS global atmospheric composition forecasts
    2. CDS API allowing users to download Global CAMS data in a programmatic way
    3. the FTP dissemination service
  2. CAMS Global archived analysis and forecast daily data (6 hourly analysis and 3 hourly up-to 5 days forecast data since 05/07/2012, available with a 5-day delay, approximately 40km horizontal resolution (T511 spectral) on 60 vertical levels from the surface up to 0.1 hPa; increased to 137 levels on 09/07/2019 onwards as part of the IFS cycle 46r1 upgrade - see  Implementation of IFS cycle 46r1  for details).  These data are available for download through:
    1. ADS interactive web interface download forms: CAMS global atmospheric composition forecasts
    2. CDS API allowing users to download Global CAMS data in a programmatic way.
    3. the ECMWF data server web interface: http://apps.ecmwf.int/datasets/data/cams-nrealtime/levtype=sfc/ , one month at a time
    4. WebAPI, allowing users to download Global CAMS data in a programmatic way (using Python - example scripts are available)
  3. CAMS global delayed-mode analyses and real-time forecasts of CO2 and CH4: On request only - Contact us

  4. CAMS Global archived reanalysis data (3-hourly and monthly), 2003-2018, annual releases planned thereafter (i.e. 2019 data available in 2020), approximately 80 km (T255 spectral) on 60 vertical levels from the surface up to 0.1 hPa for the analysed species) are available for download through:
  5. CAMS Global archived MACC Reanalysis, 2003-2012, approximately 80 km (T255 spectral) on 60 vertical levels from the surface up to 0.1 hPa for the analysed species) are available for download through:

See What are the changes from the MACC Reanalysis to the CAMS interim Reanalysis, to the CAMS Reanalysis?

Regional CAMS data (European domain, 25W/30N/45E/72N since 12th June 2019. Before this date, the domain coverage was smaller i.e. 25W/30N/45E/70N):

  1. All CAMS regional analysis and forecast daily data (archived since 04/2017 to the present, approximately 10km horizontal resolution from surface up to 5000m) are available for download either through:
  2. CAMS regional reanalyses data are available online.
