Problem
When starting ecFlowUI the application window either does not appear or stays unresponsive and the CPU spins at 100% at the same time. This can happen on MacOs when ecFlow is built with certain version of Qt5. It was experienced both on Catalina and Big Sur.
Solution
Set the following environment variable before starting ecFlowUI:
export QT_MAC_WANTS_LAYER=1
