Login credentials for the FTP account:
FTP endpoint: ftp.ecmwf.int
FTP account name: camsncp
Password is available on request.
The proposed directory and file naming convention:
/downscaling/{country_iso_code}/{model}/{yyyymmdd}/cams_ncp_{model}_{model_version}_{variable}_{level}_{yyyymmdd}_t+{sss}.{format}For example:
country_iso_code: it (controlled, lowercase ISO 3166 alpha-2 country code)
model: kAIROS (free text)
model_version: 01 (free text)
yyyymmdd: 20240221 (base date of the forecast)
variable: no2 (controlled, lowercase variable short name, from co, nh3, no, no2, o3, pm10, pm2p5 so2, any others?)
level: l0 (controlled, l0 or sfc for surface, l100 for 100m above ground)
forecast step: 012 (zero padded to 3 digits, 048 for +48h forecast step)
format: nc (controlled, lowercase data format nc or grib)
Could you also please read the rules governing the use of this service by external partners:
• Users must NOT disclose the FTP account credentials to further third parties; only the owner of the account may do so
• FTP account may only be used to facilitate data transfer to or from ECMWF; it must not be used to exchange data between third parties
• All data stored on the FTP server must be relevant to official ECMWF work.
• Any data older than 500 days (from the date of upload on the FTP server) will be automatically deleted by the system.
