On these pages you can find information about some of the changes we are planning to make to the forecasting system in the coming year. Please note that these are subject to changes as we proceed with experimentation.
Formal announcements of the implementation schedules for new model cycles will still be made by email, and relevant information will be posted on dedicated pages on the ECMWF web site, where you can also find information about previous changes to the ECMWF forecasting system. The terminology used is described in Terminology for IFS testing.
