This dataset is based on the operational ECMWF's ENS IFS forecast outputs. At the moment only control forecast outputs have been archived. There are 7 additional pressure levels being archived for YOPP to have a better vertical resolution in higher altitudes.

The dataset specification:

  • Model runs: 00Z and 12Z
  • Pressure levels: 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 20, 30, 50, 70, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 850, 900, 925, 950, 1000 hPa
  • Model levels: 1-91
  • Output frequency:
    • Steps: 6 to 360 by 6 (extremes):
      • 10 metre wind gust in the last 6 hours, Maximum temperature at 2 metres in the last 6 hours, Maximum total precipitation rate in the last 6 hours, Minimum temperature at 2 metres in the last 6 hours, Minimum total precipitation rate in the last 6 hours
