Forgot Password

Self-service passwords resets for users are not enabled by default. It is the responsibility of the Tenant administrators to reset the passwords of their users. The IAM system allows the Tenant admin to configure a temporary password the user will have to change after the first login attempt as well as to send an email with a password reset link (see: EWC IAM - IAM Password Management).

In case the Tenant administrator has forgotten their password, the EWC Helpdesk is able to support them and reset their password.

Switching between EWC Tenancies

The EWC IAM is configured with a 2-hour session expiration time. Users having accounts in multiple EWC Tenancies, need to explicitly log out from their session from the IAM before switching to another Tenancy. Logging out from the client applications is not sufficient, as the SSO session normally remains active in the IAM.

To invalidate your IAM session before switching to another tenancy, navigate to https://iam.europeanweather.cloud/logout and click on the "Logout" button. Afterwards navigate to the client application you wish to access and when redirected to IAM, you will be prompted again to provide the name of your tenancy.
