Unrealistic Skin temperature values over ocean
1. Brief description:
The values of Skin temperature parameter contains unrealistic values over ocean. The values are correct over land, but not over the ocean because a surface scheme variable is wrongly used there. This configuration was setup at the beginning of TIGGE (2006), when the Canadian ensemble system was not coupled with ocean. Now that Canadian ensemble system is coupled, thus an update is needed to be able to use an aggregated skin temperature valid over land and ocean.
2. Recommendation:
Users should be aware of that issue which will be fixed in the near future but for the new data only.
